Firsts: Ice Cream Cone
My 17-month-old son, Parker, and I had just finished a quick dinner at a nearby restaurant with my mom. It was hot and we thought we would get an ice cream cone to cool off. Parker had had ice cream in a dish on numerous occasions and really liked it. But he just sat there and watched the cone drip. Every time we tried to encourage him to take a small taste, he would turn away.
