By Daniel Pinkwater, illustrated by Jill Pinkwater (Houghton Mifflin, 2005,ages 3 and up) Yes, of course I am going to cite a book I wrote! If this is a column about books I like, then obviously I'm going to like stuff I write myself, or I would be a sorry specimen. This is another in our series about Irving and Muktuk, two polar bears who are no better than they should be. In this one the bears tease a bunny who turns out to be tougher than the bears and gives them a drubbing. The fun is in watching the nine-foot-tall doofuses intimidated by the formidable rabbit. But let me know what you think, and happy reading. — Spring 2006 By Daniel Pinkwater
