This one is wild and woolly. It's a revisiting of Little Red Riding Hood. It's also a very creative alphabet book. For example, H is for "haiku": "Thinking of Granny, Carmine wrote a haiku:

My Granny is plump.
Her soup will make you
want more.
The secret is bones."

On the last page there's a recipe for Granny's alphabet soup. There are also bright, loopy watercolors, pictures-within-pictures, cartoon speech bubbles, an unconventional layout, and subtle hints about how to paint.
