Name: Nasir Age: 4 First Became Obsessed: About a year ago First Sign of Obsession: Right after Nasir's fourth birthday, his grandfather introduced him to famous tap dancer Jimmy Slyde, a family friend. As soon as he saw Jimmy dance, Nasir started working on his own moves. What He Loves About Tap: "I like the noise. I have tap shoes and I wear them all the time, but I can tap in sneakers too. Sometimes I wear my Batman clothes to tap-dance." Sound Advice: "You should tap on a board or cardboard at your house so you don't scratch the floor." What About Music? "Your feet make the music when you tap — you don't need other music." Future Plans: "I'm going to be famous like Jimmy Slyde when I'm 5. I'm only 4 now." And for Now? "I can tap anytime if you want me to put on a show." Best Work to Date: "I have some good smooth moves. I have a spin-around move and a running move. They're easy to do because I'm good at it."
