It's Cosmic

You rarely find a perfect 5-point star in nature. So you'll score big with your child when you slice a ridged, football-shaped fruit into edible stars, ideal for garnishing the edge of a glass or using in fruit cups.
The carambola (also called a star fruit) is common in Asia, South and Central America, and the Caribbean, where it's eaten in its natural glory (rind and all) or sautéed for seafood and poultry dishes.
There's no way to know for sure if you've got a tart one or a sweet one, but produce vendors say to look for fleshy, broadly set ridges — the broader the ridges, the sweeter the fruit.
