Stuck-on-You Valentine Magnets

A very young child is just about the funniest valentine around, isn't she? Her passion knows no bounds; she loves truly, madly, deeply — you, Grandma, the bagel lady, every kid (and dog) at the playground. These refrigerator magnets can be quickly mass-produced — a lucky thing, considering how freely the love flows.

Let your child color the magnetic sheet however she likes.

Use scissors to cut heart shapes from it. (An older child might like to outline, color, and cut the hearts all by herself.)

If using envelopes, your child can drop a magnet in each one and then write the name of the recipient on the front — or just do some more decorating.

Magnetic sheet with a paintable surface (such as Color.A.Mag or Paint.A.Mag, available at craft stores)
